The application of our CO₂ cylinders is simple and straightforward, as they fit into all water bubblers for screw-in cylinders (except with Quick Connect from Sodastream).

Here we have provided you with even more information to help you make your own fizz.

(If you have a Sodastream sparkling water maker with Quick Connect you will find here matching cylinders)

It's that easy

The Woody and Ruby work in exactly the same way.

  • 1.

Screw the cylinder into the bubbler.

  • 2.

Simply bubble 2-4 x max. 1 second each

    (depending on your personal taste).

  • 3.

Wait 10-15 seconds for the foam to settle.

  • 4.

Carefully remove the bottle and enjoy the natural aroma.

We recommend that you gradually test how quickly your water fizzes when using the cylinder for the first time.

As with a good beer, foam will form in the bottle during filling. This depends on the local water quality and the type of device used. However, the foam settles after a few seconds and then disappears completely. Please do not remove the water bottle from the fizzer until the foam has settled.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT CO₂ CYLINDERS

With which sparkling water makers are the CO₂ cylinders from SodaTASTE compatible?

The CO₂ screw-in cylinders from SodaTASTE can be used for all common sparkling water makers with a screw system. You can find a detailed list in the accompanying text on our product page. Not compatible with our screw-in cylinders are electrically operated devices, Quooker and Sodastream sparkling water makers with the so-called "Quick-Connect-systems".
However, sparkling water makers with this click system are compatible with our innovative Quick Classic CO2 cylinders. These carbonated cartridges also fit into Sodastream's Duo, E-Duo, Terra, Art & Crystal 3.0 sparkling water makers.

Is it normal for foam to form when sparkling?

Yes, this is completely normal. As with a good beer, a little foam can form in the bottle during filling. This mainly occurs with new cylinders and depends on the local water quality and the type of appliance used. However, this is not a problem. The foam settles after just a few seconds and then disappears completely. Please do not remove the water bottle from the fizzer until the foam has settled.

How often should you sparkle for an ideal result?

That depends on your personal taste. The more often you press the carbonation button, the more taste is contained in the water. We recommend bubbling 3-4 times.

How can I check whether my carbonation cylinder is empty?

There are various ways you can determine whether your CO₂ cylinder is empty. First, please make sure that the cylinder is screwed in correctly and, if necessary, tighten it again by turning it to the right. If there is still no carbon dioxide in the water and you do not hear any hissing when you press the button, the cylinder may be empty. To check this, you can also weigh it with a household scale. The weight of a full SodaTASTE-cylinder weighs approx. 1200g. An empty cylinder, on the other hand, only weighs approx. 760g.
