Our May punch recipe:
Ingredients (for approx. 1 liter):
- 1 bunch of fresh woodruff (picked before flowering)
- 1 organic lemon, sliced
- 1000 ml SodaTASTE lemon
- Optional: a few strawberries or mint for decoration
- Ice cubes
Preparation:
1. prepare the woodruff: Wash the woodruff and allow the stems to dry slightly. Then hang upside down in the soda lemon for approx. 2-3 hours (i.e. NOT with the cut ends in the drink) and leave to infuse. This allows it to develop its typical aroma - it is better not to leave it for longer than 3 hours, otherwise it will become bitter.
2. remove the woodruff after steeping.
3. add lemon slices and strawberries if desired.
4 Chill well or add ice cubes.
5. optional: garnish with a few fresh mint leaves.
